It is specifically designed as an SR4 multi-mode optical module, employing a single 4-channel MPO-12/APC fiber optic connector. This module is intended for use in 400G OSFP-RHS port network interface cards (NICs) and facilitates interconnection with a variety of devices. Specifically, it allows for interoperability with 800G 2xSR4 modules on OSFP port switches or 400G SR4 modules on QSFP-DD port switches, catering to diverse interconnect scenarios between different equipment.
